Here comes summer
The tide's changing.
This week both my kids wrapped up for the summer. Hard to believe another year is done, it seems like just a couple of months ago we were dusting off the school bags and lunch boxes and trying to remember what time drop off was.
In a way the last few weeks have been horrible for us, lots of bugs going around, mostly effecting the kids, first one, then the other, and then the first one again, on and on.
But in among the choas there’ve been lovely moments of levity and warmth from these two amazing kiddos. We have a concept of a plan for the summer, but more than just get through it, we want to enjoy it. We’re going to go camping, I’m going to take some time off work. I want us all to revel in the lack of structure.
I’m open to suggestions!
P.S. My parents shipped their piano to me, the one my dad and then I learned on!
P.P.S. I normally love the heat, but Galway isn’t made to be this hot.
