Business in Boston

It was wicked cold, you guys.

So I headed off to Boston on a work trip, it was a fleeting visit for just over two days, and most of that time was spent in an office, but I will say that downtown Boston is super pretty and irregular. I also spotted a couple of Irish flags, and, yes, that accent does not disappoint.

Vibes-wise things were fine. Customs etc was painless (for me, a white european straight dude) to get into the country, and, at least downtown, I didn’t notice any ICE or militarised police. There was one anti-ICE protest outside a subway station, but if you had been hiding under a rock, you wouldn’t have noticed anything amiss. It was a relief to be such an uneventful trip.

This was the only reminder that there's a fascist crackdown going on. Proof! There are some things that have just got to be done.
